Summer Associate

(Harrisburg, PA or Albany, NY, hybrid-remote possible)

A paid ($10,000), ten-week summer associate position for a current law student to explore a career in public interest law. Summer associates work with our litigators to serve clients in Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut who have had their constitutional and statutory rights violated by public-sector union officials. First- or second-year students are invited to apply. Applicants should send a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript (first-year students must have first semester grades). Applications accepted on a rolling basis; deadline to apply is January 7, 2021.


Senior Litigation Counsel

(PA, NY, CT, or remote in the Northeast)

The Fairness Center is seeking senior litigation counsel with at least seven years of experience with federal litigation to represent the firm’s clients in complex, cutting-edge labor litigation. Senior litigation counsel direct case strategy and the work of the firm’s litigators in a collaborative and flexible office environment, serving clients in Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut who have had their constitutional and statutory rights violated by public-sector union officials. Litigation Counsel

The Fairness Center is looking for litigation counsel with at least two years of litigation experience to represent the firm’s clients in complex, cutting-edge labor litigation in, among other places, federal courts. Litigation counsel work in a collaborative and flexible office environment with the firm’s senior litigators to serve clients currently in Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut who have had their constitutional and statutory rights violated by public-sector union officials. Litigation counsel have significant responsibility in substantive litigation from case beginning to end.
