About John M. Coyne
John serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Fairness Center, where he develops authentic relationships with individuals, foundations, and other organizations who can support the mission and work of the Fairness Center through their giving and philanthropy. In this role, he also serves as a resource for organizations who may seek to refer potential clients who have been hurt by public-sector union officials.
Prior to joining the Fairness Center, John worked at Grove City College for 18 years. The last position he held at the College was Senior Major Gifts Officer and Adjunct Professor in the Winklevoss School of Business teaching management. During his time at Grove City, he earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Learning and Leadership from Gannon University, where he investigated the impact of positive and virtuous practices in organizations.
John lives in Western Pennsylvania and enjoys following Pittsburgh professional sports teams, woodworking, fishing, board games, and spending time with his family.
