Senior Litigation Counsel
Jon R. Vaitl serves as Senior Litigation Counsel at the Fairness Center, where he represents clients harmed by public-sector union officials in Pennsylvania, Florida, and in federal courts around the country. Before he joined the Fairness Center, Jon was an associate at a large international law firm. There, he represented clients in a variety of commercial disputes, including defending against class actions, in both state and federal courts. Jon also clerked for Judge John E. Jones III in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Jon received his Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University, where he was a member of the Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation. Before attending law school, Jon received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Messiah University, where he graduated magna cum laude, as well as a master’s degree from Villanova University.
Jon lives in Central Florida with his wife, dog, and five cats.
