Laura DeLaO is a dedicated financial leader and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 10 years of experience in public accounting.  As Controller at the Fairness Center, she oversees all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance efforts, helping to ensure the organization’s fiscal health and long-term sustainability.

Laura began her career in public accounting and spent a decade providing tax, client accounting, and business advisory services to small businesses and organizations across various economic sectors. At the Fairness Center, she leads budgeting, audit coordination, and financial statement preparation, collaborating closely with executive leadership to align financial practices with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Gannon University and is a licensed CPA.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was the recipient of the 2016 PICPA Academic Excellence Award in Accounting. Residing in Northwestern Pennsylvania, she enjoys spending time with her family and is actively involved in her church.
