About Matthew L. Garber
Matthew L. Garber serves as Vice President & Corporate Counsel at the Fairness Center, where he supports the firm’s general operations and strategy. Prior to joining the Fairness Center, Matthew spent five years at McNees Wallace & Nurick in Harrisburg litigating complex cases in the energy industry, facilitating new energy projects, and helping utility companies comply with legal regulations.
Matthew graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey, focusing his studies on dispute resolution and business law. During law school, he worked for the Governor’s Office of General Counsel and spent a year at Dickinson Law in Carlisle. Prior to law school, Matthew served as a business manager, nonprofit executive, and City Councilman in his home city of Altoona. Matthew loves table tennis, the strategy game Risk, homemade pizza, and great conversations with friends and colleagues.
